Great tips, Adam! Many don’t consider #4. “get a tourism card to save on attractions”. I always look for City Cards. Those also include transportation.
Will try Navfree this summer. Thanks for the info.

Street food and free breakfast! I think the street food is safer than restaurant food anyway. With the free breakfast because I’m normally up early I’ll eat up and then if possible try and get back to it just before it closes.
I had a friend travelling the US in a van and he used to try and sneak into the big hotels that had a free breakfast in the morning. He reckons he had a pretty good success rate.

Two breakfast sittings – I like your idea! Sometimes we take any snacks we can with us also that we can eat on the go, or to save for later.

Would like to hear more about the free breakfast’s by sneaking in big hotels – how cheeky but brilliant!

“Step away from the strip: restaurants & bars off the tourist streets will be half the price” – This is one of the most importante tip to save money when traveling.

One thing that I usually do, is to go to a grocery store or local supermarket and buy bottled water and snacks to carry around.

This way I always have some food and water with me, and I spend less with food
